Terrill Lee Summit passed away at his home on April 3. He is survived by his wife, Dennzle, three children, and six grandchildren, all of which he was surrounded by until the end. Terry was born in Des Moines, Iowa, and joined the Navy in his youth. He served 25 years during which he was wounded in Vietnam and received the Navy Cross, as well as other awards. During his service, he met his future wife in April of 1974, and they married in September of 1974. Following the birth of three children , Terry went back to school and received his associates degree in Accounting. Terry moved to Tehachapi with his family in 1996. Terry led a quiet life and enjoyed reading and spending time with his family. The family would like to thank Mary Vickering and all of the hospice staff for all their help. They would also like to thank all of the volunteers who helped care for Terry during his illness. Services were held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on...
