Tehachapi’s first home duel meet in two years turned out to be a very successful venture, with the Warriors (103-61) and Lady Warriors (126-37) taking victories over the visiting Wasco Tigers at Dye Natatorium. The team of Dylan Patton, Wesley Schultz, Michael Halaska and Travis Farewell took first place in the 200 medley relay and 200 free relay, with individual first place honors going to Patton (200 free, 100 breast), Shultz (200 IM, 100 fly), and Halaska (100 free, 100 back). Randy Baiza, Chad Farewell, Chris Marsik and Spencer Williams also took first in the 400 free relay, while Williams took first place honors in the 500 free. “We had a really good day at the pool, we showed how versatile we could be as a team, putting a lot of our swimmers in different events,” said head coach Joey Neptune.
