Everyone is officially invited to attend the Peaceful Valley Donkey Rescue Festival 2008. This free event is our spring fund raiser and is open to the public from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 3.
Peaceful Valley is a professional rescue organization funded entirely by private donations. This fundraising event is being held to raise money for the care and support of over 1,000 donkeys, as well as help fund the Big Bend rescue project in Texas.
A family fun event
Bring your camera, there will be photo opportunities everywhere. Interaction with the “A” donkey herd (please wear sturdy close-toed shoes), a reptile area, live music, raffle drawings for great prizes, a silent auction, ranch tours at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., and lots of fun for kids. There will be beverages and light snacks available for purchase throughout the event.
