Walter C. Berry passed away on April 18, as a result of declining health. Walter was 90 years old, having been born in Coalinga, on January 14, 1918. Walter was a veteran, having faithfully served his country during World War II in the United States Navy. Walter started working for Northrop Grumman when he was 18 years old and returned Northrop after leaving the Navy, for a total of 33 years. He was a flight test engineer. He loved to go hunting and his hobbies included collecting cameras and checking out garage sales. Walter is survived by his wife, Jeri, and step-children, Cathy Ann Banducci, Leah M. Hansen, John Crabtree; 14 step-grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Field and wife Eileen, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers Kenneth and Arthur; sister, Ann Callaway, and step-daughter, Candace Alvarez. A memorial service for Mr. Berry will be scheduled. Wood Family Funeral Service, Inc. will be handling the arrangements.
