Tehachapi thought that the game might be another one-run contest after a 10-9 loss to Bakersfield Christian earlier in the season, but no one could have predicted the one-run difference coming after 30-29 score in one of the most impressive offensive shows in the history of Warrior baseball. Bakersfield Christian opened the game with a 13-3 lead after three innings at bat, but Tehachapi then exploded for three runs in the bottom of the third, 15 runs in the bottom of the fourth, and seven runs in the bottom of the fifth to take an astounding 28-19 lead. The Eagles would fight back with 10 runs of their own in the sixth to take the lead, but two runs in the bottom of the inning sealed the deal for Mountain Baseball in the win. Johnny Holguin went 4-6 with a homerun, four RBIs, and a double, Brock Tessandori went 4-6 with six RBIs and a double, Sean Arbaut went 3-6 with six RBIs, and Franky Rodriguez went 3-5 with a homerun and three RBIs.
