Main Street Tehachapi is sponsoring its first International Chili Society Chili Cookoff in historic downtown Tehachapi on Saturday, June 14. “In addition we will have a 25-foot Ferris wheel, bounce houses, barbeque, food booths, vendors, gunfighters, sports car show, live music and much more,” said Michelle Vance, executive director of Main Street. “We are sanctioned by the International Chili Society. We have cooks from all over the state coming to Tehachapi to compete for our district Cookoff; in fact, we have three World Champion Cooks attending,” she said.
