In recent weeks, the Tehachapi News has been bringing to the public’s attention the event of some ‘not so kind’ emails being sent to City Council members. These emails must have been very hurtful, perhaps slanderous, perhaps threatening. So much so that the Tehachapi Police Department has investigated them and the Counsel for the City of Tehachapi has spent time offering legal advice about the emails. At the last City Council meeting, it was approved by the Council to advance the issue to the Kern County Grand Jury for investigation and advisement. At some time in everyone’s life we have been the victim of bullying in one form or another. Apparently there is a person in the community who must feel angry or frustrated by issues that have come before the City Council. These issues have apparently not been resolved to their satisfaction or they feel they had a battle to win, and that didn’t happen. Some people, as we all know, just...
