Tehachapi softball received a big boost over a week ago when two league wins over Taft, 2-1 and Golden Valley, 10-0, helped vault the Lady Warriors into first place in the South Sequoia League.However, Tehachapi (7-3-1; 2-0 SSL) is still very much in a feeling-out mode in the first stanza of league match-ups, with two home games against Arvin and Shafter on the docket this week.Tehachapi will look to get their bats going against both opponents, with Kasie Muro second in the league in batting average with .458 and Lindsay Romo leading the league in home runs with two.
