Tribal Territory, a new international dance show, is coming to Tehachapi on Sunday, April 30, and will be held at the Veterans Memorial Hall, 125 E.F St.This unique show, sponsored by the Mountain Tribal Chapter of MECDA, a nation-wide non-profit cultural and dance association, will feature many talented professional performers.The dancers travel from cities throughout California to participate in this cultural event. The show focuses on ethnic, historic and folkloric dance forms from the nations along the fabled “Silk Road” trade routes of antiquity. In addition, the audience will thrill to a full-length dynamic Polynesian show-case, presenting elements of the cultural and musical fusion of today’s “Silk Road” nations and the South Pacific.
