I am such a lucky person. Married 19 years, mom of the most delightful, lovely, funny 14 year old baby girl, my family are my whole world. As a writer I get to spend my days in the weird rich land of my imagination, leaving my body here to do laundry while I battle shape-changing giant squids and huge insect demons, fall helplessly in love with people I shouldn't and get lost in the Night World. To my continual surprise, squid medusas and pod people wriggle out the ends of my fingers and turn into the strangest clay beads.
