About Tehachapi Family
Tehachapi Family Support Group is for family members and friends of those who suffer with a serious mental illness, such as schizophrenia, bi-polar, OCD, major depression, or borderline personality disorder. The Tehachapi Family Support Group is geared specifically for those who live in the Tehachapi Valley. This group has educational meetings, support group meetings, and outreach campaigns. The Tehachapi Family Support Group also works with Kern County Mental Health Department to ensure that needed services are available in this area. Family Support Group meets the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month at Consumer Family Learning Center, 276 S. Mill Street, 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. These meetings are open to all family members and friends who have a loved one suffering with a serious and persistent mental illness. Consumer Support Group is to be announced.
