Eleven years for CDC; nine years as Correctional Officer in Tehachapi CCI; eighteen months in medical records...made important medical discoveries that prompted a return to college at 35, as full-time student.

After three on starving student status, attempted to return to full-time work; had to explain why I had been off work for three years, without college degree....

Came back to THS in time to get certificate in windpower basics; took temp job for FPL, and later for NEG Micon...

Went to work for Nabors Drilling, at time when wind energy held little promise of expansion or training; spent three years in oilfields, working on oil/gas and geothermal developments and explorations.  Made significant discoveries about how natural gas is formed by the chemical breakdown of sea water and decomposing organic waste...no shortage of either in our oceans!

Suffered hand injury, that prompted a return to wind solar energy education projects; founded AdVENTures in Energy REsearch; Education Alliance AEREA, an email discussion group, involving student, engineers and industry leaders...
