0 responses 0 comments The Tehachapi Republican Women, Federated is offering an opportunity for a day out of the kitchen. For $5 you might have the lucky ticket that will guarantee breakfast, lunch and dinner for two. In fact, you might win two days out of the kitchen.
We have six civic-minded restaurants that are participating in this fundraiser: The Apple Shed, Gracian Grill for breakfast; Idy’s and Kelcy’s for lunch; and Cattleman's and Jake’s Stakehouse for dinner.
Tickets can be purchased from any TRWF member, from Java Cafe, ‘hachapi Tees or Tehachapi Art Center.
The money raised from ticket sales will provide scholarship money for a local student going on to college who writes the best 500-word essay entitled “America the Free Because of the Brave, How My Chosen Vocation Makes a Difference in Government Today.”
This is an opportunity for all students who would like to participate and TRWF encourages students to try.
