Bank of the Sierra makes donation

The local branch of Bank of the Sierra recently donated $3,536.44 to the Family Life Pregnancy Center as part of their Sierra Grant Program. Kim Nixon of the center accepted the grant, which will be used to buy equipment for the center's education of students and the community.

The Sierra Grant Program grants, on average, amounts between $1,000 and $5,000 to non-profit organizations in need. The grants are focused on three areas: community services, park preservation and education.
