Most enclosures are far too tight. When the truck can’t drive up to hook up to the bin, another driver must get out of the truck and pull the bin out. Some bins are on a four-inch platform, which can be very dangerous to the driver when bins are full.
I’m glad Mr. Benz brought this to our attention. I’m glad that the city made some good decisions on behalf of Mr. Benz. I fully agree with paying an additional driver more money. Maybe this will catch on in other cities.
Redesigning the bin enclosures is truly in order.
