In Memory of Glenda Gail Williams

0 responses 0 comments Services were held on May 5 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for Glenda Gail Williams, 66, who passed away April 29 in Tehachapi. Bishop Rob Anderson officiated at the services and burial took place on May 8 at Hillcrest Cemetery in Weiser, Idaho.

Glenda was born June 6, 1939 in Rush Springs, Okla. and had been a longtime Lancaster resident until moving to Tehachapi nine years ago. She graduated from Antelope Valley High School in 1957. Glenda had been a planning clerk for Northrop for nearly five years before retiring. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Tehachapi Ward.

Glenda was preceded in death by a brother, L. C. Martin, in 2003. Survivors include her husband, Gilbert; son, Louis Williams, both of Tehachapi, daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Jon Bethke and their children, Jonathan, Amy Elizabeth and Nicholas, of Bear Valley; sister, Loretta Reis of Texas; brothers, Clarence Taylor of Santa Clarita and Gary Taylor of Oroville.

Greenlawn Mortuary, Bakersfield, handled the arrangements.
