Last month, Mrs. Robson’s fourth grade class at Cummings Valley School performed a tremendous show for their families and friends. It included numerous patriotic songs such as “The Armed Services Medley,” “America the Beautiful” and “The Star Spangled Banner.”

Some students read essays about their hopes and dreams for their personal future and the future of the world. Other students read the history of the songs. Students gave flowers to audience members during “You’re a Grand Old Flag.” A lovely reception followed.
