Donald Lee Carroll was born March 7, 1929 in Inglewood. He passed away on May 4 after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Donald enjoyed his time with his family, classic cars, place at the river, hunting and most of all building custom homes. Donald will be greatly missed by all who came to know and love him.

Donald’s wife, Jean Carroll, preceded him in death. He is survived by his loving family, which includes his six children, Don Carroll, Velda Korbut, Randi Carroll, Toni Salhus, Connie Hamon, Mike Carroll and their spouses; 13 grandchildren, Michele Smith, Jason Carroll, Stacy Ryan, Reanon Ellis, Jennifer Carroll, Lani Salhus, Nathan Salhus, Jessica Carroll, Kyle Hamon, Jeff Carroll, Kim Carroll, Matthew Salhus and Nicole Carroll; 10 great-grandchildren, Justin Carroll, Alyssa Smith, Devon Casey, Ocean Bryan, Tyler Salhus, Dylan Smith, Xavier Hix, Randi Carroll, Hunter Ellis and Kamryn Hamon; sisters, Betty Garritano and Marybelle Gassaway; and his nephew Gary Garritano.

Memorial services will be held at the Wood Family Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, May 10, at 4 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family will be participating in the American Cancer Society Relay for Life walk and request that a donation be made to their team.
