We would like to offer the final update regarding our daughter Ocean Rayne Maxwell.
First of all, we would like to thank the Tehachapi News and so many people from our community who have offered prayers and support during this difficult time.
Our daughter, Ocean, spent two weeks in UCLA Medical Center. She endured many tests and procedures including open heart surgery. Ocean surprised the medical staff several times with how strong she was throughout such challenging circumstances. She finished her life here on earth on May 12. We would ask for continued support as we endure this very difficult time in our lives.
We are grateful for the trust account that has been established on behalf of our daughter. If any of you in the community or beyond that read this have the desire to assist us in our time of need you may use the contact information given below.
Lastly, our hearts go out to any of you who have encountered a loss the same or similar to ours. Take time to appreciate all that you have and never take anyone or anything for granted. Life is an amazing and precious gift and it is guaranteed to no one.
