0 responses 0 comments This year’s Tehachapi baccalaureate will be held at First Baptist Church, located at 1049 S. Curry St., on Friday, June 2, at 6:30 p.m. Baccalaureate is a traditional part of graduation celebrations. This year’s service is sponsored by the Tehachapi Ministerial Association and proves to be a wonderful celebration of student educational achievements.
The program includes speaker David Meek, principal of Bakersfield Christian High School; the Tehachapi High School Choir; speaker Renee Rose Rhone, a 1988 THS graduate; and several awards will be extended to graduates with outstanding achievements.
The baccalaureate will be held for all senior high school graduates of Tehachpi High School, Monroe High School, private schools and home schoolers. The entire community is encouraged to attend and support our graduates.
