Third-grade students from Carden School were given the opportunity to learn and teach about the proper way to transport trash and recycling, thanks to a scholarship program from Kern County Waste Management.

The class took part in a week-long program where they were introduced to puppet characters that taught different waste management lessons.

At the end of the week, the class shared their new knowledge about trash by performing a puppet show for other classes.
