0 responses 0 comments Continental Ministries’ theatrical troupe, Jeremiah People, will bring their musical talents to St. Jude’s in the Mountains Episcopal Church, located at 1200 S. Curry, on June 5 at 7:30 p.m.
“My Rules of Engagement” is an original play about a young woman who must choose between two suitors for her hand in marriage. Along the way she gets lots of advice — some welcome, some not — from her father, who sees life as a football game; her mother, who can’t wait to plan the wedding in all its Martha Stewart glory; and her grandmother, a wisecracker who has the wisdom to help her granddaughter make the right decision.
It’s a family-friendly evening of humor and heart-touching moments performed with the excellent quality for which Jeremiah People has been renowned for over 30 years.
The performance is free, with a freewill offering being taken to offset travel costs.
