We wish to extend our deepest thanks to everyone who attended and participated in the Memorial Day service in the park on Monday, May 29. We especially want to thank Boy Scout Troop 136 for posting the colors and Girl Scout Troop 383 for distributing programs and flags to everyone in attendance.
We thank Father Wes Clare for his very moving invocation. Our thanks to Mayor Ed Grimes for his Memorial Day address.
Thank you Tracy Barnes for leading us in the national anthem and Jim Carmichael for playing “Amazing Grace” on the bagpipes.
Also, a big thank you to Carl Gerike for volunteering his sound system. The program was a very moving tribute to our departed veterans. Thank you to everyone who attended.
