Bouquet: Thanks for making relay survivor reception a success

The survivor’s reception for Relay for Life was a success. It was held last Thursday, June 1, at Mountain Bible Church from 4 to 6 p.m. We had 30-plus survivors pre-register for the Relay for Life and about 50-plus attend.
Our entertainment was graciously provided by Jo Stone at the piano and Craig Shaw singing and playing the guitar. We had a delicious array of food, including fruit platters, vegetable plates, dips, cookies and carrot cake squares.
There were 16 helpers and we want to included huge thanks to the church and the entertainment for the donation of the facility and their time and talents as we honored those who are cancer survivors.
Paper chains were made with a link for each year of survivorship and these chains will decorate our survivor tent at the Relay for Life.
