Hear ye, hear ye: bring your flags to wave, dress in red, white and blue to celebrate America, still the greatest country on earth. On July 2 at 11 a.m., the Christian Life Assembly, located at 920 Valley Blvd., will commemorate our great country, honor our flag and salute our men and women who have made American freedom possible. This extraordinary event is open to the community.

Squadron 46 of the Civil Air Patrol will open the service with a full-color guard presentation. All servicemen present will be honored for their commitment and service to our country. A musical, “Stars and Stripes Forever,” a powerful group of songs that will take us through the history of the American flag, will be presented.

Following the service, an old-fashioned country fair with hot dogs, a watermelon eating contest, an apple pie contest, gunny sack races and snow cones will take place on church grounds.

For more information, call the church office at 822-3813.
