In Memory of Wanda Ruth McCall

0 responses 0 comments On June 21, Wanda Ruth Lockard McCall, a resident of Tehachapi since July 1989, passed away. Wanda was born in Johnstown Penn. on Nov. 2, 1953 and moved to Reseda in 1956 following the death of her mother. A graduate of Reseda High School, Wanda married Charles B. Lockard in February of 1972. In 1981, Wanda was widowed as the result of a drunk driver. In Tehachapi, Wanda was a former employee of Frame of Mind.

Wanda will be remembered for her deep, extending love of family and friends in all that she did. The loss of Wanda will affect all of those who have known her. Wanda fulfilled so many different roles in assisting others throughout her life with her organizational skills as well as her artistic talents and numerous other abilities. We all share in the loss of Wanda from our lives.

Wanda is survived by her husband, Robert McCall; her six children, James Lockard, Dawn McCall, Shawn McCall, Michael Lockard, Ryan Lockard, Megan McCall; and six grandchildren, Theodore Lockard, Caitlin Lockard, Madisson Dakota McCall, Emily Lockard, Samantha Lockard and Hailey Lockard.

Memorial services for Wanda will begin at 1 p.m. on July 8 at Gates, Kingsley and Gates, located at 6909 Canoga Ave. in Canoga Park, with a viewing from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
