0 responses 0 comments James Lee Phoenix Sr., 80, a part-time Tehachapi resident since 1986, passed away on June 28 in Torrance.
James served in the Army during World War II and was a member of the Disabled American Veterans.
James is survived by wife, Mattie Phoenix of Manhattan Beach; daughter, Linda Kealy of Azusa; and son, James Phoenix Jr. of Lawndale.
A gathering of family and friends was held on July 3 at Pacific Crest Cemetery Chapel.
