Lost cat - can you help?

I am looking for my 1 year old tabby cat named Jake.....he is a house cat and he got out about a week ago and I havent seen him since....he is our family cat....me and my children miss him so much I dont know what to do.We live across the street from Golden Hills Elementary. I thought I would post and see if any one knows anything...maybe if you are in the area you can keep an eye out for him...we miss him so much, we have had him since he was 6 weeks old, he is a really sweet kitty.....i just am so sad and afraid he is out there all alone and scared and hungry....I dont have the extra money to make flyers or offer a reward at the moment....My kids and I would be so happy to have him back. He is a pretty big size cat, he is greyish brown with black stripes and some black spots, he is fixed and has all his shots.Please email me if you have any information, or if you think you might have seen him, or know some one who picked up a stray cat fitting the discription.
