0 responses 0 comments Memorial services were held August 8th, at Country Oaks Baptist Church, in Tehachapi, for Richard Cooper Quog who passed away in his home in Tehachapi after succumbing to metastic colon cancer.
Dick was born in Nyack, New York on August 13, 1933. He graduated from Baldwin Wallace College, in Brea, Ohio in 1955. Dick served his country for five years in the U.S. Army. He moved to California to marry his wife, Barbara, in 1979. He had an illustrious career in the insurance industry from which he retired as Regional Vice President of the Church Insurance Company of the Episcopal Church. He and his wife owned a small horse breeding ranch for 13 years in Wallace, California.
Surviving him are his beloved wife, Barbara Cole Quog; son, Michael Quog of Long Island, NY; daughter, Belinda Leigh Endress Quog of Newbury Park, CA; stepson, Robert Endress of Aqua Dulce, CA; and two grandsons, Noah Quog and Jacob Endress. He is also survived by his sister, Peggy Marzolla of Colorado Springs, CO; his sister-in-law, Irene Cole of Tehachapi, CA; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
