1 response 0 comments Russell Alan Bloom, 43, passed away in Fresno on Aug. 6 due to injuries suffered after being hit by a drunk driver. Russell lived in Tehachapi for nine years, where he was CFO of the Tehachapi Hospital. He moved to Visalia in 1999, where he was a financial controller for Financial Credit Network, Visalia.
Russell was born on June 11, 1963 in Los Angeles. He grew up in southern California and graduated from Newbury Park High School in 1981. He attended the University of Denver, where he received his BA in accounting. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose.
He is survived by his wife, Michele, and children, Josh, David, Karlie, Zach and Susan, of Visalia; mother, Gail Bloom, of Acton, Calif.; brother, Mitch Bloom and wife Karen, of Holly Springs, N.C.; sister, Bobi White and husband Rene, of Danville; nephew, Josh Bloom, and nieces Sarah and Rachel White. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
The arrangements were made by Miller Memorial Chapel in Visalia.
