A memorial service for Linda Wood (Van Dyke) Keel will be held at Wood Family Funeral Service on Wednesday, Sept. 6 at 3 p.m. Linda passed away on Aug. 28.

Linda was born on Feb. 2, 1942, in San Francisco. She had recently relocated to Tehachapi to be with her daughter and her grandchildren.

Linda will be missed by all who knew her. She added a little something to the lives of those she knew. She had a story for everyone. Linda had a big heart and would give her last dollar to someone she felt needed it more. She was simple, humble and extremely proud of her children and grandchildren.

Linda is survived by her sons, Larry Larche of Lodi, Vincent Giovacchini and wife Gina of Petaluma, Devin Giovacchini and wife Gina of Naples, Italy; daughter, Keleigh Nava and husband Jason of Tehachapi, and Monique Larche of Malone, Wis. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Lisa Marie Giovacchini, Anthony John Giovacchini Jr., Jennifer Giovacchini, April Patterson, Amber Patterson, Audrianna Nava, Destiny Larche, Paulina Giovacchini, Lindsay Nava, DeAnna Giovacchini, Ella Kimball-Larche, Gianna Giovacchini and Amelia Giovacchini. Also her beloved cats Thumper, Sparky and Poppy, and a very large extended family and many friends.

Linda is preceded in death by her mother, Beulah June Wood; father, Harry C. Van Dyke; son, Anthony John Giovacchini Sr. and stepson, Angelo Giovacchini.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in her name to the Tehachapi Humane Society, as she had a love of animals.
