He is survived by his wife, Veronica Evans; children, Brandy Watts and spouse, David, Walter Evans and spouse, Dianna, and Oraray Evans; sisters, Helen Evans and Mary Kay Dudas; brothers, John Evens, Bobby Evans, Billy Evans, Ronnie Evans, Sammy Evans and Jack Evans; grandchildren, Zachary, Walter, Elena, Johnnie, Daniel and Kaitlyn. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Ruby Evans; brothers Donald “Bud” and Thomas Evans and sister, Dorothy Cline.
Visitation will be held at Basham Funeral Care, 3312 Niles St., Bakersfield, on Monday, Sept. 18 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Graveside services will be held at Tehachapi Public Cemetery at 2 p.m.
