0 responses 0 comments Cadet Forest L. Wallace, son of Thomas and Josie Wallace, of Tehachapi, has completed Cadet Basic Training at the U.S. Military Academy.
Wallace was among approximately 1,300 cadet candidates who concluded their training with a 12-mile road march from Camp Buckner to West Point on Aug. 7. New cadets were officially accepted into the Corps of Cadets during the Acceptance Parade on Aug. 12.
Wallace graduated from Tehachapi High School in 2006. He plans to graduate from West Point in 2010 and will be commissioned a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army.
