Bee was born in Bakersfield, and passed from this life at Memorial Hospital in the same city.

She was the daughter of Allen and Sarah Davis, and was married to Milton for 67 years. She was the devoted mother to Ronald and Glenn, and worked as a bookkeeper for various businesses, including the Tehachapi Correctional Institution.

She and the family resided in Bakersfield until 1962, when Milton — having served as a medical corpsman in both World War II and the Korean War — accepted a position as a medical technical assistant with the Tehachapi Correctional Institution. The family then moved to a ranch in Cummings Valley. Ronald graduated from Bakersfield High School in 1958, and Glenn went to high school in Tehachapi, graduating in 1966. Bee, Milton, and Glenn moved into Tehachapi proper in 1965, where Bee and Milt have resided ever since.

Bee always supported her sons education through active participation in PTA, and never failed to attend their school activities. She was a strong member of the Tehachapi Valley Methodist Church.

Bee is survived by her husband Milton; sons, Ronald and wife Roberta, and Glenn and wife Jeanne; grandson, David and wife Sherry; granddaughters, Anna and Teri and husband Mark; great-granddaughter, Erica; and great-grandsons, Curtis and Michael.

Her love of life and laughter will be forever remembered.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, Jan. 20 at 10 a.m. at Wood Family Funeral Service Chapel and graveside and interment services followed at Tehachapi Public Cemetery – Eastside. Pastor Alice Oberg officiated. Wood Family Funeral Service handled the arrangements.
