0 responses 0 comments A funeral service was held Wednesday, Jan. 17, at 2 p.m. at Wood Family Funeral Service Chapel for Tehachapi resident Patricia Ann Bachtenkircher, 68, who passed away in her home Friday, Jan.12.
Pat was born to Henry Wilburn and Ellen Maxine Williams on July 1, 1938 in Bakersfield. She spent her adult years in Kern County, the last six of which were spent in Tehachapi. Pat was a case analyst for the government and retired from that position after 20 years.
Mrs. Bachtenkircher is survived by her sons, Dennis and Burl Bachtenkircher, both of Bakersfield; sisters, Melba Jones, of San Diego, and Edith Newton, of Riverside; 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert.
Pastor Ron Barker officiated the service. The Tehachapi Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star also participated. Graveside and interment services were held at Lawncrest Memorial Park in Redding on Friday, Jan. 19.
Wood Family Funeral Service handled the arrangements.
