She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald S. Merrihew.
She is survived by her 4 children, Robert (Bob) James Davenport of Santa Monica; Sara Lorine Piesco and her husband, Mark, of Oak Park, Calif.; Susan Elizabeth Davenport of Old Hickory, Tenn. and Dorothy Arwin Justen and her husband, James P. Justen, of Redwood, Calif.
Barbara lived a long and interesting life. She was a teenager in Honolulu, Hawaii and experienced the attack on Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941. She lived in Santa Monica, Calif. for 30 years and more recently in Tehachapi, Calif. She touched the hearts of all who knew her and will be deeply missed by family and friends.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, Jan. 27 at Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks Chapel in Westlake Village, Calif.
Services are entrusted to Pierce Bros. Valley Oaks Mortuary in Westlake Village, Calif.
