0 responses 0 comments Members of the Jacobsen Middle School Drama Club gathered on March 22 to present a $500 check to the Main Street Tehachapi Historical Murals Committee.
Murals Committee Chairman, Charles White (center) gratefully accepted the donation, which was made possible by funds raised from the Drama Club's recent production of the musical Oz. The donation will go toward the next mural, to be painted at the Hitching Post Theatre on Green Street. Students are holding the artist's sketch of that mural, which highlights the history of air mail in Tehachapi.
