As of press time on Friday, April 13, the three teens who were caught on tape throwing patio furniture into the Holiday Inn Express pool on the night of April 5, had not come forward.

“If they come clean, we will not press charges against them,” said Ricardo Peregrina, the general manager of the hotel.

Peregrina originally gave the youth a deadline of April 13 to turn themselves in to himself or authorities. He said he will now leave it up to the sheriff’s department to decide how to proceed.

“Coming clean will be the best thing for them,” said Peregrina. “They can pay to fix the furniture and admit they were wrong.”
