Led by Grant Rosander’s four-over par 76, the Tehachapi Warriors posted a team score of 419 in a non-league tournament last Monday at Tierra Del Sol Golf Course in California City.
Competing against Lancaster and Mojave, the Warriors also received strong marks from Jacob Booth (85), Jordan Carr (85), Dan Lerman (86), and Jared Steinbach (87) to help vault Tehachapi to their second-lowest team score of the season.
“Unfortunately we had to leave a little early after our team finished so we didn’t get a chance to see the final tally of Lancaster or Mojave, but as a team we were pleased with the results,” said assistant coach Dan Rosander. “Overall the guys are playing well and working hard.”
The meet allowed Tehachapi to polish their game for the final two South Sequoia League mini-tournaments of the season this week, with the first at Kern River Golf Course on Tuesday and the second tourney hosted by Oak Tree Country Club in Bear Valley.
“Bear Valley has been tremendous, they’ve been very accommodating and have been an awesome host for us,” said head coach Rick Scott. “We’re excited about using the course for the league meet and we appreciate their generosity in letting us use it.”
