Warriors swimming defeats Taft

0 responses 0 comments The Tehachapi swim team notched a pair of close team wins in the Warriors’ 94-82 and the Lady Warriors’ 96-84 victory at Taft. With the wins, Tehachapi’s boys and girls teams finished their regular season with an undefeated league record in duel meet competition heading into the SSL finals this week.
“We feel pretty good heading into the league finals based on how we performed in these duels, for sure,” said head coach Herman Rijfkogel. “Obviously anything can happen with the field being so large in the league championships, but we like our chances and we’re looking forward to it.”
The league championships will be this Friday in Shafter.
