First Baptist Church honors graduates with Baccalaureate service

0 responses 0 comments For many decades, Tehachapi has been honoring its high school graduates with a baccalaureate service. This includes the value place on home school, private school and public school students. The program is Christian based, spiritually focused on the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
It is at baccalaureate that we have the privilege and opportunity to come together in one accord, forming a garland wreath, with the purpose of nurturing, admonishing and celebrating the spiritual health of the enclosed seeds – our graduating seniors – who are preparing to exit the berry. Baccalaureate service is scheduled on Sunday, June 3, at 3 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 1049 South Curry St. The public’s attendance is welcomed.
