0 responses 0 comments Mark and Diana Ricker would like to announce the engagement of their daughter Megan Marie Ricker to Christopher John Bowman, Jr. son of Chris and Val Bowman and Yvette Christine. Chris and Megan were engaged on Christmas Eve and will be married July 28.
Chris will continue his service in the Marine Corps as a crew chief on Huey and Cobra helicopters. He has two years remaining and will face another deployment to Iraq.
Megan is employed at Bank of the Sierra part-time. She has just graduated from Bakersfield College and will continue pursuing her goal of becoming a teacher at Cal State University Bakersfield.
Chris and Megan are high school sweethearts and have been together 3.5 years. They plan to reside in Tehachapi.
