0 responses 0 comments “The first thing they said was, this is not a crank call,” said Tehachapi resident Harvey Becker, recalling the surreal phone call informing him he’d won a 2007 Toyota Camry from Save Mart’s “Victory Lane” promotion.
While some go to Vegas when they feel lucky, some go shopping. Becker said he’s been padding his shopping list lately, in hopes he’d drive home something better than a good bargain.
“I’ve been shopping at Save Mart for the past seven years, usually twice a week, but I came in extra times for the contest,” Becker said, after store manager Tim Kring presented him with the keys to his new ride.
