“We have only seen them twice in this area in the five years we have been here. We lost a huge elk a little over a year ago to poaching. He was rather tame, roaming the valley with his herd. He even had a  name "Big Daddy." His antlers now hang in the Bear Valley Country Club,” said Arnold Haile.
