Tehachapi Mountain Outreach Program invites all teens and young adults to an afternoon of free fun, free food, free entertainment and free prizes. Admission is also free!
This event will be held on Aug. 11, from 1 to 7 p.m. in downtown Tehachapi at the Philip Marx Central Park, also known as “City Park.”
Entertainment will feature live local bands including Fading Out Silence, Bold Witness and rapper Doulos, of Bakersfield, along with many other live bands.
The key speaker, Bay Forrest, former NBA Phoenix Suns Player, has been described as a “passionate and dynamic speaker” who at 6' 10” inspires and motivates young people by sharing stories from his life experiences, as a professional basketball player along with telling about his years spent in Africa. Hundreds of dollars worth of free prizes including a guitar, bicycle, skateboard, and iPod, have been generously donated by businesses and individuals from the Tehachapi community and will be given away during the event.
