What is going on with these large stores?  I went into the store today to buy a few things and pick up some photos.  There was a man working behind the counter in the photo area who did some kind of disappearing act by the time I got to the front of the line.
I waited for him to come back, but he never did.  In fact, no one came over to help and there were several customers behind me.  The lady behind me found another employee who simply stated,"there's no one working in the photo area".
Hmmm, we had that one already figured out!
I gave up on retrieving my pictures and checked out at the front of the store where
there was a cashier waiting.
I don't understand how a corporation can build a store on every
corner in North America, but can't hire people to actually work there!
Is it just me, or is this frustrating for anyone else in this town?

It was Walgreens, which I had stated; but was edited before it was posted.

About a month or so ago I went into this store and ordered some pictures to be printed. I chose my time for pick up ( about 1 hour later ) and went on my way and planned to return at the chosen time. I returned to find out that their equipment was broken down and I was not able to get the order. I ended up waiting over a week to get them. I complained to the manager and he took 10% off the price for waiting for so long. I swore that day that I would never have pictures developed or prints made there again.
