0 responses 0 comments Golden Hills Elementary School held their Back-to-School night for parents to spend some time with their children’s teachers on Sept. 6.
"It's good to be out here and good to be at a school that exceeded the state testing requirements. We are looking forward to the school going from a really good school to a really great school. We have the potential of being a very successful school district. Our goal is to be one of the highest in Kern County," said Tehachapi Unified School District Superintendent Dr. Richard Swanson.
The evening was deemed a success by many of those who attended. Jackie Woods, Tehachapi Unified School Board member expressed her pleasure over the turnout. "It is so nice to see so many parents here supporting their children's education."
