In order for the Tomo Kahni Resource Center to continue to provide the local Tehachapi community with important educational programs, the rent must paid! So to help defray the cost of operations, the Tomo Kahni Board of Volunteers is hosting a weekend yard sale fundraiser. The event will take place from 7am to 2pm on Friday October 12th and Saturday October 13th at the “house on the lake” at 22704 Woodford Tehachapi Road. Please no early-birds.
In addition to all sorts of found treasures, items from the Tomo Kahni gift shop will be available for sale, including books, clothing and other items related to local Native American culture. Tax-exempt donations toward the operating expenses for this valuable facility are also warmly welcomed.
The Tomo Kahni Resource Center is located at 112 E. “F” Street, Suite A in downtown Tehachapi and is open on Fridays and Saturdays from 12:00 to 4:00 PM.
