It was truly a Tehachapi style, family fun night, as the Tehachapi Old Time Fiddlers sponsored a night of old fashion Contra Style Barn Dancing. From age two to 82, young and old, teens and adults, enjoyed circle dances and reels with some toe tapping music.

Fiddlin’ Red Hattie, a.k.a. Gayle Pitchford, played lead fiddle, backed up by bass, banjo and guitars. Contra dances are held in Tehachapi several times a year and are great for all ages. For more information on upcoming events contact Wayne Thompson at 822-0644.
