“Oh Little Town of Bethlehem” has been a familiar scene around Christian Life Assembly for the past four years. The church sponsored “Walk Through Bethlehem”,  “Road to Bethlehem” and now the 2007 unique production called the “Bethlehem Experience”. This year’s presentation will be unlike any other year in that the Christmas story will unfold over a period of four weeks through the sets, music, drama, interaction with the guests, and live animals.

The community is invited to come and experience the Christmas story in a fresh, new approach during the four first Sunday’s in December at 10:30 AM. The first week, Dec. 2, will find you trying to relate with Mary, the mother of Jesus, as she contemplates the angel’s proclamation to her. You will cringe as the Roman Soldiers demand the census on the second week, Dec. 9. On Dec. 16, week 3 of the Bethlehem Experience will find you sympathizing with the young couple as they search in vain for a room but then have you rejoicing as you hear the first cry of the newborn child. The last Bethlehem Experience will be Dec. 23 and the Angels good news to the shepherds on the hillside will inspire you to also “Go Tell it on the Mountain” that Jesus Christ is born!

The first 300 family units will receive a free Nativity set over the four-week period. At the completion of the Bethlehem Experience each household will complete a beautiful set of figurines of Mary, Joseph, the Christ child and a star. This will be a part of your Christmas tradition and memories for years to come.

Christian Life Assembly is located at 920 Valley Blvd. just east of Tucker. Invitations are available in businesses all over town. No reservations are required, however, early seating is recommended. The “Bethlehem Experience” will take place in the building known as the New Life Center and it will be open at 10:00 am each Sunday. For more information call the church office at 822-3813.
